Stampin Up Catalog

The Newest Products Available From Stampin Up!

Every year, the new Stampin Up Catalog comes out in June. The products in the new catalog can be ordered until the following May. Furthermore, there are two seasonal catalogs. One for the holidays, and one called “occasions”. The holiday products will be available to order from September to early January of each year, and the occasions from January through May.

So, what’s available right now? I’ll give you PDF links to each current catalog, plus I’ll highlight my favorite product from each. If there are any special tips related to a product or catalog, I’ll include those too. Enjoy browsing!

The 2017-2018 annual catalog just became available as of the writing of this post. I am drooling over so many of the new products. There is one that stands out among the rest for me.  I cannot wait to get my hands on it!  It’s the Coffee Cafe Photopolymer Bundle.

I love coffee everything. I know a lot of fellow coffee lovers who would be the perfect recipients of a coffee themed card or gift.  I’ve already got a neat idea for my first project. It’s going to be home decor. (Coming soon!)

By the way, these products in the bundle are also available separately, but buying in the bundle saves you 10%.

Coordinating products in The Coffee Break Suite are corrugated elements, coffee break designer series paper (dsp), coffee break cardstock, and ribbons. The ribbon colors are soft sky, crumb cake, and whisper white.

If you click on the photo above, you can see that someone even did some fussy-cutting on the dsp to get a french press, carafe, and coffee pot to add to their project. Clever! With so many options I know I’m going to have a blast with this suite.

Just got another cool tip about the coffee suite. The printed small coffee cups on the dsp coordinate with the small coffee framelit die. You can see on the photo below on the magnetic platform there is a little coffee cup die with cutouts. Cool! Note if you don’t have a magnetic platform, you can use post it notes to keep your die from moving away from the coffee cup on the dsp.

See the “Be Merry Suite” starting on page 113. There are a few new stamp sets and products this year, and a few that came back from last year that are still stunners.

Stampin Up Occasions Catalog:

The occasions catalog will be available starting in January of 2018. Check back then!

More Than Shopping

These catalogs are good for way more than shopping. They’re rich with ideas to make with the products. Maybe you see a designer series paper you really like but you can’t think of what you would make with it. Voila! Suddenly there are ideas right there at your fingertips.

You’ll see boxes, bags, cards, home decor and more. They’re all throughout the entire catalog. So, make sure you look closely and see what you can re-create.

Of course, you can also use these ideas with the products you’ve already collected from Stampin Up. I always keep my catalogs for that reason. Long after the products retire, the catalog ideas still give inspiration.

Make Something That Means Something

The theme for the 2017 Stampin Up catalog is “Make something that means something”. You know your loved ones better than a random card company or home decor store. You know what would mean something to them, and you can make it!

The fact that what you’ve created was handmade by you means even more. These aren’t the things that get read and tossed in the trash. These are the things that are cherished for all time. I’d love to hear your stories of making something that means something. Leave them in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy looking through the catalog(s).
