Need Help Organizing Your Ribbons?
Crafts are so much fun, but the supplies can start taking over your space quickly. Learn how to make this DIY ribbon holder that will dispense six spools of ribbons.
Some of the wider spools might need some customization, but this tutorial will fit about 6 spools of ribbon from Stampin Up, even if a couple of them are slightly wider.

What is Embossing
To emboss paper means to give it a raised design. For this project, we’ll learn how to make a card with two different embossing techniques.
You can emboss by pressing paper into a mold, or by using heat with special powders.
As you can see above, our background features the layered leaves pattern. We achieve this look with an embossing folder and the big shot.
Our punched out flowers are heat embossed. For those we will pour embossing powder (much in the same way you would use glitter) over our stamped design, then use a heat tool. The tool will make it solidify and give that raised design.

Make Your Own Gift Holder
Today’s project can be used for all kinds of gift giving, but we’re calling it our DIY gift card holder. First, we’ll go over the supplies and cuts of paper you’ll need. Then, I’ll tell you step by step how to complete this project. This one is a breeze!
I got the idea for this project from Jan Brown. Jan is a wonderful papercrafter. She does a great job on Youtube if you’d like to look her up.

The Peek-Through Thank You
Need a couple of thank you card ideas? For this post, I’ll show you two themes for our DIY project I like to call “The Peek-Through Thank You”. You’ll see that you can make any theme you like, but I wanted to show you that you don’t have to have a stamp that says “thanks”.
You can use this format over and over, even for birthday or or other types of cards. The way you construct the card will be the same. The theme and papers you use will be up to you.
You can see in our header photo above that we have one kitty theme with the word “puurfect” on the front. As in, “that thing you did was perfect”. Then, you could write your message of thanks on the inside.
The other one you see is a coffee theme. The stamp on the front of it says “Thanks a Latte!” For this tutorial, I will be walking you through how to make the kitty card, but I will show you the inside of the coffee themed card as well.
First, I’ll tell you all the supplies you’ll need, and then the specific cuts of paper you need.

The Perfect Finish
Give your gift box or bag the perfect finish with this DIY gift bow. I got the idea for this project from Ann’s Happy Stampers on YouTube. If you live in the UK, you should definitely visit Ann’s website and “adopt” her as your SU lady. She is amazing! Thanks for sharing the idea, Ann.
When you need a great present bow, there’s no need to run out and pay up to $5 or more, you can make your own really easily. Using just one half a piece of designer series paper, your project will only cost you somewhere around 50 cents.
This project is also great for that piece of DSP you really like but you just aren’t sure how you’ll use it. You can always make a bow (or two) that will wow the person you’re giving a gift to.
I’ll walk you through each step and show you photos and short videos so you can see exactly how to make these. As always, let’s grab our supplies first.

Hey there! In this post we’re going to learn how to make a paper box with a decorative lid. I’ll show you step-by-step how easy it is to make these boxes and customize them to your taste.
I have sizing information for a 4 inch, 3 inch, 2 inch, and 1 inch square box. They’re all made the exact same way, so you can make the size you need each time. For our photo tutorial , we’re making the 2 inch.
As always, let’s grab our supplies first, then I’ll give you the step-by-step directions. I’ll finish up by giving some tips on customization. My tutorial photos turned out yellow-ish. Sorry, I’m still learning. You’ll still get the point.

Giving Back Through Your Purchase
When I signed up to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator, I honestly had no idea they supported Ronald McDonald House. Each year Stampin Up chooses a stamp set that with every sale of that particular set, $3 is donated to this wonderful charity.
I can’t tell you what that means to me, but I’ll try. You see, my oldest daughter Anna is a cancer survivor. Throughout her treatment, we stayed with Ronald McDonald House many, many times.
I’ll start by telling you which stamp set you can choose to make sure your purchase counts, and then I’ll tell you more about our experiences there. You’ll see how amazing and how needed it is.

Beautiful Butterfly Gift Tags
Give your gift box or bag an extra wow factor by adding this really cute and simple butterfly gift tag toilet roll craft. Now, I certainly can’t say I came up with the concept of making a butterfly from a toilet paper roll. I honestly don’t know who to credit for that.
I did, however, think of the idea of wrapping it with designer series paper and dipping the sides in the ink pad. The finished look came out great!
The thought came to me because a year or two ago my mom and I made Christmas ornaments with toilet paper rolls. We painted them first and burned our fingers using hot glue. I’m happy to tell you none of that is necessary.
The Tombow muti-liquid glue is strong enough to hold it all together, and Stampin Up designer series paper makes beautiful designs without having to get out your paint can. I’ll give you the supply list and then I’ll walk you through how to make these butterflies.

The Double Betty
I like to give my cards a nickname. This is because I like to teach concepts that can be customized rather than specifics that can only be created one way. Let’s learn how to make a birthday card with… The Double Betty.
Named for the double sided designer series paper we’ll use and the beauty of the finished product, The Double Betty is easy and fairly quick to make.
I’ve seen cards similar to this all over the internet, so I don’t know who specifically to credit. If you’ve made this card or a similar card, give me a shout out in the comments.
First, I’ll tell you what supplies we’ll need. Then, I’ll walk you step-by-step through making the card.
